Report: Staffers at US embassy in Israel threatened with expulsion if they keep leaking Huckabee’s emails
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS deputy ambassador to Israel David Brownstein reportedly warned staffers at the American embassy in Jerusalem that they could be expelled from the country if they continue leaking US Ambassador Mike Huckabee’s internal messages to staff.
Brownstein tells staffers in a memo leaked to CNN that sharing Huckabee’s emails violates “operational security” and is “absolutely unacceptable & will be grounds for removal from post with prejudice & administrative action.”
The fact that Huckabee’s messages — along with Brownstein’s — continue to be leaked to reporters suggests mounting dissatisfaction within the embassy over the leadership’s conduct.
