Rocket warning sirens in Gaza border kibbutz a false alarm
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe rocket sirens in the community of Kibbutz Rei’m were a false alarm, the military says.
An Iron Dome interceptor missile was launched into the air during the incident after operators mistakenly believed a rocket had been fired from the Gaza Strip.
“There was no launch from Gaza,’ the IDF says.
Residents of the area reported hearing the sound of an explosion, apparently as the interceptor exploded in mid-air.
