Soldier who took selfie next to bound Palestinians injured

Eden Naggar — who gained infamy four years ago when she was still named Eden Abergil — was wounded Friday in a rocket attack on Gan Yavneh, Walla news reports.

When she was in the army, Naggar took a picture of herself smiling in front of bound and blindfolded Palestinian men, and uploaded the picture to Facebook. The picture was roundly condemned.

Naggar was lightly wounded in the attack, along with three others, one seriously.

Naggar told Walla she would want to tie the hands of those who fired the rocket, and blindfold them, “but I’m not sure I’d want to take a picture with them. But I’d want them to be in an appropriate place — in jail, and that they be given the death penalty.”
