Apple co-founder and legendary technologist Steve Wozniak arrives in Israel over the weekend to attend a conference on education and technology, the Times of Israel’s David Shamah reports, despite the ongoing conflict with Hamas.
Wozniak, known as “The Woz,” was one of the two founders of Apple, along with the late Steve Jobs, but left a formal position at the company in the 1980s to pursue other interests. In the ensuing years he has been involved with a number of other ventures and has become a sought after lecturer.
He’ll be joining the education and science ministers, as well as mayors, MKs and other leaders, at a conference in Holon.
