US President Donald Trump claims Iran has reached out to express interest in making a deal after Washington walked out of negotiations with Tehran in Pakistan over the weekend.

“We have been called this morning by the right people in Iran…and they want to make a deal,” Trump tells reporters, while standing next to a DoorDash delivery driver outside the Oval Office.

Trump says he wants to make a deal with Iran but will not allow the regime to obtain a nuclear weapon and that the US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is going ahead in the meantime.

The president also reiterates his claim that Pope Leo is “very weak on crime.”

He asks the DoorDash driver if she supports “men playing in women’s sports,” but she responds that she is just there to thank the president for his no-tax-on-tips policy.
