Two children hurt by shrapnel in Lebanon rocket attack
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTwo five-year-old children were hurt by shrapnel from a rocket fired from Lebanon a little over an hour ago which landed in a community in the Upper Galilee.
Eighteen people were treated for shock.
The IDF fired artillery shells into Lebanon in response to the attack.
A Lebanese security source said the rocket was launched from Dheira, three kilometers from the border with Israel.
In mid-July, at least nine rockets were fired from Lebanon at Israel, prompting it to retaliate with artillery fire.
Lebanese military officials had, at the time, said they believed the attacks were carried out by a small Palestinian group in an act of solidarity with Gaza terror groups.
