Two Palestinians died of their wounds today following clashes with Israeli forces on Thursday and Saturday, respectively, the Palestinian Authority health ministry says.
Neither Palestinian’s name has yet been confirmed by official sources. One was shot in the stomach near Nablus
on Saturday night, while the other was shot on Thursday near Hebron, the health ministry says.
The Israeli army has said that violent Palestinian riots took place on both days. In photos and videos from on social media, Palestinians can be hurling stones and burning tires near Israeli checkpoints.
More than fifteen Palestinians have been reported killed in clashes with Israeli forces since Monday saw the outbreak of hostilities between Israel and Hamas. The Palestinian Authority has yet to release an official tally.
The Israeli army says that some of those Palestinians were killed while attempting to commit terror attacks against Israeli soldiers in the West Bank.
