UAE foreign minister castigates PM’s ‘repugnant’ comments
The United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash castigates Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his “repugnant” comments last week in which he asserted “Israel is not a state for all its citizens.”
“Not only are PM Netanyahu’s comments that ‘Israel is not a state for all its citizens’ repugnant, but they provide vindication sought by extremists. The road to peace is further undermined by this shameful approach,” Gargash tweets.
Netanyahu in recent years has boasted of his improving of ties with Gulf states.
