UN envoy urges restraint as Temple Mount flareup mounts

UN Middle East envoy Nikolay Mladenov expresses concern over recent events at the Temple Mount, as Israel shut the site after Palestinians hurled a Molotov cocktail at a police post.

“Restraint must be shown to avoid inflaming an already tense situation. The status quo must be fully respected by all,” Mladenov tweets.
