UNHRC to hold emergency Gaza meeting

The United Nations Human Rights Council will hold an emergency session Wednesday to discuss the conflict in Gaza, Reuters reports.

The decision is made in response to a request from Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, and Pakistan.

Egypt makes the request on behalf of the Arab League, while Pakistan does so for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
