The Times of Israel was founded to tell Israel’s story, to enable the world to better understand our remarkable, embattled, constantly evolving, insistently thriving nation. That is why the theme of our very first Times of Israel Gala, at the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom in New York City on February 15, 2015, is “Telling Israel’s Story.” It’s an event to celebrate the very best of the country we call home.
We invite you to spend the evening in the company of some of Israel’s most outstanding men and women — hearing from the statesmen and women who steer Israel through diplomatic storms, and the pioneers who protect and advance the nation through technological innovation, along with international film stars, humanitarians, entertainers, athletes and more.
