Students from 15 college campuses across the United States will protest the upcoming appearance of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the United Nations headquarters in New York by launching an “UNWelcome” campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of a nuclear Iran.

The students are being organized and receiving support from the pro-Israel organization Hasbara Fellowships. The campaign features T-shirts stating that Ahmadinejad is “#UNWelcome” during a time of growing international concern over Iran’s nuclear program.

In previous events at the United Nations and other international forums, Ahmadinejad has challenged the historicity of the Holocaust, denied that homosexuals exist in Iran, and denied that Iran is seeking to build nuclear weapons.
