Army issues evacuation warning to residents of south Lebanon’s Tyre

The Israeli military issued an urgent evacuation warning Saturday to residents of the coastal city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, ahead of planned strikes on Hezbollah targets.

“Urgent warning to the residents of the city of Tyre… Hezbollah’s terrorist activity compels the IDF to operate against it with determination,” the military’s Arabic-language spokesman Colonel Avichay Adraee says on X.

“For your safety, we call on you to evacuate your homes immediately, according to the area shown on the map, and move north of the Zahrani River,” he says, adding that the area extends to the Burj al-Shamali refugee camp.
