Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is holding a meeting with senior military and defense officials amid heightened tensions over an anticipated Iranian and Hezbollah attack on the country.

The ministry says the meeting is focused on “the security developments, and the various options to exact a price for attempted attacks from Iran and its proxies.”

The meeting is attended by the IDF chief of staff, the director general of the Defense Ministry, the deputy head of the Shin Bet, the heads of the Operations, Intelligence, and Strategic Planning directorates, the head of the Air Force, the head of the Home Front Command, and other officials.
