Hamas’s civil defense agency says that Israeli strikes have killed six people over the past 24 hours, the latest bout of violence in the territory against the backdrop of the US-Israel war with Iran.
In a pre-dawn strike, two policemen and a civilian were killed in the southern city of Khan Younis, the agency reports.
A strike on a group of civilians yesterday evening in eastern Gaza City killed three people, whose bodies were taken to the territory’s main Shifa hospital, the agency says.
The Israeli military does not offer an immediate response.
Violence has continued in the Palestinian territory despite a ceasefire since October 10, and even as Israel continues its air campaign against Iran since February 28.
