IDF says Hamas breaks ceasefire
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF is claiming that Hamas has already broken the humanitarian truce that went into effect 1:30 p.m. “Hamas has not stopped shooting” from Shejaiya, the IDF spokesperson’s office says.
IDF spokesman Peter Lerner tweets that the IDF is responding.
The ceasefire, scheduled from 1:30-3:30 p.m., is meant to allow rescue services to reach Palestinians who were killed or injured in heavy overnight fighting in Shejaiya.
Once more #Hamas breaches cease fire. This time brokered by the @ICRC_ilot for a humanitarian hiatus. #IDF responding accordingly.
