IDF says it killed elite Hamas Nukhba member who took part in Oct. 7 assault

A member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force who invaded Israel during the October 7 onslaught and participated in an attempted assault on an IDF post was killed in the Gaza Strip last week, the military announces.
Muhammad Naif Abu Shamala served as a Nukhba company commander, according to the military.
On October 7, 2023, the IDF says Shamala and other Hamas terrorists tried to capture the army’s so-called Mars post next to the border community of Kissufim.
He was killed last Wednesday, August 13, by troops of the Kfir Brigade in the Khan Younis area, the army says.
Throughout the war, he advanced numerous attacks against IDF troops operating in Gaza and against srael, the military adds.
