IDF targets home of senior Hamas commander
The IDF has reportedly struck the house of senior Hamas commander Raed Attar in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. According to an Israel Radio correspondent, all the houses of Hamas’s divisional commanders in the southern Gaza Strip have been destroyed.
It remains unclear whether Attar was at home at the time.
Attar was among those responsible for the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2006, Ynet reports.
Additional Israeli airstrikes are reported across the southern Gaza Strip in the cities of Khan Younis, Rafah and Nussirat.
