Israel accepts 2-hour localized humanitarian ceasefire
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDespite Hamas claims to the contrary, Israel will accept a 2-hour humanitarian ceasefire in the Shejaiya neighborhood in order to allow rescue services to reach dead and wounded Palestinians.
The truce will last from 1:30-3:30 p.m., and is limited only to Shejaiya.
Hamas passed the request to Israel through the Red Cross, and said earlier that Israel rejected the offer.
Palestinian media reports that dozens were killed overnight in fierce fighting in the Gaza City neighborhood.
