Lebanon’s official news agency reports “fierce clashes” between the Israeli military and Hezbollah in the southern town of Bint Jbeil.
In recent days, the IDF encircled Bint Jbeil as it works to clear the Hezbollah stronghold of terror operatives and the group’s infrastructure.
The National News Agency reports that Israeli troops “are still trying to infiltrate and take control of the remaining neighborhoods in the city of Bint Jbeil.”
The report adds that the IDF shelled the outskirts of the town and its entrances with artillery.
