Israeli journalists attacked in Turkey
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Israeli news crew reporting from Istanbul’s Taksim Square was attacked by several people angry over Israeli military actions in Gaza, Hadashot news says.
Hadashot reporter Ohad Hemo says he and producer Oded Bino were unharmed in the incident.
Hemo tells the broadcaster the incident began when a man noticed him speaking Hebrew and began yelling “murderer, murderer.” Other people surrounded the two, and one man began pushing them.
Hemo said they would report the incident to police.
