Latest rocket volley had long range, says IDF spokesman
The latest volley of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel reached distances that have not been seen before, IDF spokesman Moti Almoz tells Channel 2.
Almoz says the latest barrage was “massive,” targeting several cities and regions in the country.
While he says the rockets’ range was long, Almoz does not confirm reports that a rocket was launched at the northern city of Binyamina, where a Code Red siren was heard earlier this evening.
Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya reports that launchers in Gaza have targeted Haifa, also in northern Israel, with medium-range missiles.
