Netanyahu to soon deliver first public remarks amid renewed Iran fighting

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver a statement to the media this evening at 6:15 p.m., the Prime Minister’s Office announces.
Netanyahu has yet to officially comment on the renewed fighting with Iran, as Israeli officials indicate that Jerusalem will halt its strikes against the Islamic Republic barring further attacks.
Defense Minister Israel Katz announced minutes ago that Israel will continue to operate against Hezbollah in Lebanon and strike Beirut if the terror group attacks Israel, saying Israel “categorically rejects” Iran’s earlier threats that it would respond to any further “aggression” by Israel in Lebanon.
