Police arrest 6 Palestinians for hurling stones, Molotov cocktails at West Bank base

Police say officers arrested six Palestinians for hurling stones and Molotov cocktails at a Border Police base in the West Bank town of Abu Dis, on the outskirts of Jerusalem.

Around 100 Palestinians rioted in the area, and Border Police officers responded with crowd dispersal means, police say.

The six suspects are residents of the area, and have been taken for further questioning.

Last night, a 16-year-old Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli troops after allegedly hurling firebombs at a military post near the town.
