Reacting to indictment announcement, Urich sarcastically says AG ‘didn’t ask for a death sentence’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleResponding to the announcement that Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara has decided to indict Jonatan Urich, a senior adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, over documents leaked to the German newspaper Bild, Urich responds with a post to his X account saying: “It’s quite something that the AG didn’t ask for a death sentence,” an apparent sarcastic jab at the gravity of the charges against him.
Urich will be indicted on charges of transmitting classified information with the intention of harming state security, possession of classified information, and destruction of evidence, the AG’s office says.
