Thousands flee Gaza’s Shejaiya after heavy shelling
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThousands of people flee Gaza’s eastern Shejaiya district earlier today, many of them on foot, after heavy shelling leaves casualties lying in the streets, an AFP correspondent reports.
Ambulances are unable to reach much of the area along the border because of heavy fire, and emergency services tell AFP there are reports of dead and wounded trapped by the bombardment.
