Thousands march in London pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel rally
Officials say some 15,000-20,000 people are in attendance at the weekly pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel rally in London.
Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offense for a placard comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.
Images and videos posted to social media appear to show other anti-Israel placards as well as chants.
The activists say they are marching for a full ceasefire in the war between Israel and the Hamas terror group — a temporary truce ended last week after it was violated by Hamas.
The march comes a day after the United States vetoed a UN Security Council ceasefire resolution which failed to condemn Hamas’s October 7 massacres in Israel — in which thousands of terrorists killed about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took about 240 hostages — or to acknowledge Israel’s right to defend itself.

This is the central pillar of the antisemitic argument. That the Jews are the Nazis and the Palestinians are the Jews. It is an antisemitic falsehood. It is a lie. It is an attempt to propagate hate against Jews in the name of their murdered kin. pic.twitter.com/Kydi8nikCl
