Troops operating the West Bank city of Jenin have uncovered an explosives laboratory with hundreds of devices already prepared for use, the Israel Defense Forces says.

The IDF says two similar labs with dozens of makeshift bombs are also found in the area.

The soldiers confiscated the weapons and explosives, the IDF says.

In a separate incident, the IDF says Border Police troops shot a wanted Palestinian man in Jenin. The suspect is taken by military forces to a hospital in Israel for treatment before he will be questioned.

Another Palestinian gunman was shot during clashes in the area, and troops seized his weapon, the IDF adds.
