With Gofman taking charge of Mossad, PM’s military secretary to be replaced tomorrow; successor still unannounced

Israeli generals have been invited to a handover ceremony for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s military secretary, though the identity of the new officer is unknown.

Outgoing military secretary to the prime minister, Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman is set to enter the role of Mossad chief tomorrow.

In an invitation letter shared by Ynet news, members of the IDF’s General Staff Forum are invited to a ceremony for the handover of the military secretary and the promotion of the incoming officer to major general tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.

However, Netanyahu has not yet announced who will be replacing Gofman as military secretary.
