700 trucks carrying goods enter Gaza after border crossing reopens
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFollowing the reopening of the Kerem Shalom Crossing this morning, the Defense Ministry says 700 trucks carrying goods entered the Gaza Strip throughout the day.
Of the trucks that entered Gaza 185 carried building materials, 88 food, 82 cement, 67 textiles and 48 wheat, among others.
During the over month-long restrictions on the entry of goods through the crossing, which were imposed in response to violence emanating from Gaza, an average of 100-150 trucks entered the Strip each day.
