Arab League tells Iran to halt attacks on Gulf nations
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe ongoing strikes deepen an “unprecedented state of hostility” with Iran’s neighbors in the Gulf, says Arab League chief Ahmed Aboul Gheit in a statement.
He demands that Tehran stop the attacks, which he calls a “strategic mistake,” saying “Iran must come to its senses.”
The Arab League, made up of 22 member states, promotes regional cooperation. However, it is widely seen as toothless and has long struggled to help solve conflicts.
