Gila Tragerman’s eulogy for her son

“You taught us how to love and you gave us so much joy. I find solace in the fact that you were a loved and happy child until your last minute,” she says of her son, killed when shrapnel from a mortar shell which exploded outside their house at Kibbutz Nahal Oz on Friday smashed into their home before Daniel could reach their protected room.
