IDF says troops killed Palestinian terrorist in Gaza border kibbutz

The Israel Defense Forces says troops killed a Palestinian terrorist in the southern kibbutz of Nir Am, close to the border with the Gaza Strip this morning.
According to the IDF, the gunman was identified in the community, and infantry forces and tanks were dispatched to the scene.
After an exchange of fire, the terrorist was killed, the IDF says.
