In Jerusalem, hundreds flout wartime restrictions with hours-long Purim street party

The revelry has been ongoing since noon, attendees tell The Times of Israel, flouting the army’s wartime restrictions barring public gatherings.
Police attempted to break up the hundreds-strong crowd by driving a patrol car slowly down the bustling street while blaring its sirens, but were unsuccessful.
No arrests have yet been made, according to several officers in the area.
