Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrives at the State Department to meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, says Aoun’s office.

Aoun is slated to meet with US President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

This is the first visit to Washington by a Lebanese president since 2009, and comes amid US-backed direct Lebanon-Israel talks.
