PM meets with head of IDF disabled vets group, vows reform for soldiers suffering from PTSD
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with IDF Disabled Veterans Organization chairman Idan Kliman, amid growing outcry of alleged government neglect of soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
In a statement released after the meeting, Netanyahu says: “The plight of the disabled and wounded in the IDF is real. For many years we have not updated our policies, which require first aid treatment as well as comprehensive reform.”
The premier vows to pass governmental reform on the issue within two weeks.
