Seven arrested during football match between Sakhnin and Beitar
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice have arrested seven football supporters during a match between the Beitar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin football teams in Jerusalem.
Firecrackers and smoke grenades were thrown onto the pitch from the East Stand in Beitar’s Teddy Stadium, an area of the stadium known for unruly behavior.
The two teams have a history of bad blood and violent clashes between supporters.
