US President Donald Trump calls for Iran to be added to a Russia sanctions bill sponsored by the late senator Lindsey Graham.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump says that “Republicans should add Iran to the Russian Sanctions Bill. That’s what Lindsey wanted to do, and it was going to happen. IMPORTANT!!”
The bill — which has the support of over 60 senators across both parties — would impose 100% secondary sanctions on countries buying Russian oil and natural gas, as well as target Russia’s shadow fleet of tankers meant to evade sanctions.
