Hamas media says senior commander Imad Aslim killed in Israeli strike yesterday

Hamas-affiliated media in Gaza reports that the funeral of Imad Aslim, the deputy commander of Hamas’s Gaza City brigade, is underway.

Israel announced yesterday that it had targeted Aslim in a strike along with Izz ad-Din Beck, the commander of Hamas’s northern Gaza brigade.

Hamas has not yet commented on the strike or on the fate of the two men.

So far, Hamas has not commented on the alleged assassination attempt against them or announced their fate.
