IDF says Hamas Nukhba operatives killed in Gaza airstrike

The IDF says it killed terror operatives from Hamas’s elite Nukhba forces in the Gaza Strip earlier today.

According to the IDF, the operatives were identified by troops in the field, who alerted the Israeli Air Force to their presence.

It says the Air Force then “struck and eliminated” the terrorists “in order to remove the threat.”

In a separate incident overnight, the military says troops identified two operatives “carrying out suspicious activity on the ground in the area of the Yellow Line.”

The operatives “approached the troops, posing an imminent threat,” the IDF says, adding that they too were targeted in an Air Force strike.

“IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat,” the statement adds.
