IDF says it killed Hezbollah aerial unit operative in southern Lebanon strike

The IDF says the strike earlier today in southern Lebanon’s Jouaiyya targeted and killed a Hezbollah operative from the group’s aerial unit, known as Unit 127, who was involved in efforts to rehabilitate the terror group’s military infrastructure.
According to the military, the operative’s activities constituted a “blatant violation” of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF says the operative was the second from Hezbollah’s aerial unit killed in Israeli strikes over the past two days, without specifying which earlier strike it was referring to.

Earlier, Lebanese authorities reported that one person was killed and another wounded in a drone strike on a vehicle in the area, while Arabic media published footage showing first responders at the scene near the burning wreckage.
