Lebanon says two Hezbollah-linked paramedics killed by Israeli strikes in south
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLebanon’s Health Ministry says two paramedics from the Hezbollah-affiliated Islamic Health Committee were killed and five others wounded today in Israeli strikes on the country’s south.
A ministry statement says Israel “directly targeted, with two strikes, two Health Committee sites,” killing one paramedic and wounding three others in Qalaway, and killing another paramedic and wounding two others in Tibnin. The statement decries Israel’s continued “violation of international laws.”
There was no immediate comment from the IDF on the strike, though the military has repeatedly warned in recent weeks that Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terror group, is using ambulances and medical facilities in Lebanon for military purposes.
