Israel’s shekel continues to appreciate, nearing the psychological barrier of NIS 3 to the dollar, driven by growing optimism for an improvement in Israel’s geopolitical situation.

The shekel is trading at NIS 3.0015 to the dollar. It marks the shekel’s strongest value since 1995. The currency has gained more than 5 percent so far this year.
