A teacher in the ultra-Orthodox West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit was arrested Tuesday on suspicion that he had molested children. He partially admitted the allegations against him, and was remanded in a hearing at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.
Police said the 26-year-old man was suspected of abusing several children, most of whom he met randomly at various locations around the country. Last week, one of the man’s alleged victims went to the police and filed a complaint about him. Police said the incidents took place around the country over the span of several years.
