250 new immigrants from Ukraine arrive in Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSome 250 new immigrants from war-torn Ukraine arrived in Israel today and will settle in northern and central Israel.
Many of the new immigrants, constituting 117 families, came to Israel from shelters in Ukraine established for people displaced in the fighting, says the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, who assisted them.
“The day-to-day situation in the Ukraine now is awful,” says one of the new arrivals, Olga. “I am so grateful for this opportunity to come and live in Israel.”
