The last witness called for the defense was Hadas Gips of the National Center of Forensic Medicine, Walla reports. She was the 52nd witness to give evidence in the trial that has bitterly divided Israel.

The prosecution and defense will now present their closing arguments, with the verdict expected in the coming months, Walla says.
