Iraq forces take village, TV station on edge of Mosul
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleElite Iraqi forces recapture a village and a television station on the edge of Mosul, commanders say, as they press forward with the operation to retake the jihadist-held city.
“We finished clearing Gogjali and took control of the Mosul television station building,” Staff Lieutenant General Abdelwahab al-Saadi tells AFP.
Another senior commander also confirms in a statement that the village and the TV station have been recaptured.
