Japan pledges $5.5 million in Gaza aid
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJapan says it will give US $5.5 million in emergency aid to organizations such as UNICEF to transfer to the Gaza Strip, the International Business Times reports.
Japan “has to respond to the situation as many people are being killed and injured,” Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida continues. He also calls on Israel and Hamas to reach a ceasefire agreement.
