Man charged for raping new mother in Jerusalem hospital
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man is charged with impersonating medical staff at a Jerusalem hospital and raping a new mother, Hebrew language media reports.
The prosecutor asks the Jerusalem District Court that the suspect, identified as Razek Hazam, be held in custody until the end of proceedings, NRG reports.
The incident occurred last month at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
NRG says the man impersonated a hospital worker and told the woman he needed to carry out an examination, before assaulting her.
He is also charged with assaulting two other patients and stealing from a nearby grocery store.
