Just over two-thirds — 67 percent — of respondents to a new television poll say they oppose the various laws passed by the coalition this week, including enshrining Torah study as a quasi-constitutional value and approving legislation to shield ultra-Orthodox draft dodgers from arrest.

Asked about the legislation by Channel 12 news, 21% say they support the laws, with the remaining respondents not knowing.

Among the other questions in the poll is whether respondents or any of their relatives are considering leaving Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reelected, with 23% responding yes versus 68% saying no and the rest unsure.
